SKIING IN CERVINA

Cervinia is 27 km from the hotel, about 35 minutes by car.

Breuil-Cervinia, (2,050m) a modern tourist resort at the foot of the Matterhorn, offers an impressive ski area.
150km of slopes connected with Valtournenche for a total of 24 lifts and an international one with Zermatt, via the Cime Bianche Laghi – Plateau Rosà cable car and the Bontadini chairlift for a total of km of slopes From Plateau Rosà you can descend towards Zermatt, or take the del Ventina: 11km of descent from 3,480m at the start to 2,050m in Cervinia.

The Cime Bianche Laghi area (from where the cable car leaves for Plateau Rosà) offers other beautiful descents served by the Goillet chairlift which is the gateway to the Valtournenche area.
For skiing in complete relaxation at Plan-Maison there are comfortable lifts (including the four-seater chairlifts with the protective dome of Plan Maison, Fornet and Bontadini) which serve slopes, also connected with Plateau Rosà, for all tastes and all the levels. The Cretaz and Pancheron chairlifts create a new fast and comfortable access route from the village to Plan Maison, while the Pancheron six-seater chairlift offers an incomparable view at the foot of the south face of the Matterhorn and allows you to take advantage of extremely technical slopes and allows off-piste to take advantage of very beautiful routes with powder snow in winter and "transformed" snow in spring.
For snowboarders, the reference point is the Indianpark, considered one of the most beautiful snowparks in the Alps: equipped with rails and kickers, it is served by the Fornet chairlift.

• IGLOO RESTAURANT: Located in a historic chalet from 1983, it was renovated by the new owner in the summer of 2012. The restaurant is located at 2400 m. in a very sunny position and from its new terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Grandes Murailles and the Matterhorn. In addition to being able to reach it with downhill skis in winter, the IGLOO can also be the destination of a trip with snowshoes or ski mountaineering and in the summer of a nice walk or mountain bike for lovers of the mountain. The restaurant is about 1 hour from the village on foot. The property, with its staff, will be happy to welcome and pamper you in a family atmosphere. For a delicious snack in front of a good glass of wine, you will be offered fabulous Igloo platters of cold cuts and cheeses; as first courses they offer the possibility of tasting traditional Aosta Valley dishes such as polenta concia (prepared with the best regional fontine). A special mention goes to the outdoor barbecue which will welcome you at the entrance to the dehors with wonderful scents that will surely stimulate your senses!

• LA BRICOLE: A few steps from the ski slopes, on the beautiful mountains of Breuil, stands the Bricole e Bricolette restaurant and bar, one of the most established and renowned places in the area. The restaurant offers a varied and very tasty menu, consisting of both typical specialties of the Aosta Valley area and sandwiches, snacks and steakhouse delights, all prepared with genuine first-rate ingredients. The menu includes a rich choice of appetizers, mixed salads , first and second courses based on meat or fish up to typical sweets of the area, all prepared with genuine ingredients and locally produced, in order to ensure the highest quality in every bite.
